Water Conservation Tips
As severe drought continues to affect the island and with a very dim forecast for potential rainfall, the KSAC is encouraging all residents to practice more stringent water conservation measures.
Here are some water conservation tips:
-Take a shorter shower. Showers can use anything between six and 45 litres per minute.
-Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth- this can save six litres of water per minute.
-Fix a dripping tap. A dripping tap can waste 15 litres of water a day, or 5,500 litres of water a year.
