KSAC- Serving our citizens and other stakeholders

We made a commitment as a member of that global community of cities on a fast track path, to end the global march of HIV/AIDS. As part of the Kingston plan, we also made a commitment to do our bit to promote awareness, testing and to end stigma. As part of that in 2015, and also as part of our Local Government month, we hosted a couple of health fairs; in fact we did four of them and they were staged in various communities across the municipality. National Homeless Coordinator, Damion Campbell, lauds the Clarendon Poor Relief Department for the significant steps it has taken towards addressing homelessness in the parish.
Mr. Campbell said the establishment of a homeless committee, revamping of the local shelter program and advocating an increase in government financial support are among the parish’s major achievements.
