Let me on behalf of the KSAC family congratulate the West Indies cricket teams on their wonderfully entertaining and impressive performance.
We have all been elated, long time fans, seasonal enthusisasts and wagoonists alike. In fact, I believe even individuals with just a passing interest have joined in celebrating the victory of the male and female teams in the recently concluded T20 ICC World Championship especially as it came on the heels of the success of the under-19 team.

The community of Greenvale, just outside Mandeville, benefitted from the Ministry of Health’s Mosquito Search and Destroy initiative on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10.
Chief public health inspector in Manchester, Charmaine Palmer-Cross, said the operation was mainly intended to find and destroy Aedes aegypti mosquito-breeding sites, and to build public awareness about the importance of mosquito control.

Bon Voyage Ms. Creary
The Spanish Town Infirmary on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, said farewell to Patient Care Assistant, Yvonne Creary who went off on pre-retirement leave with effect from Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Ms. Creary has been executing duties at the Infirmary in the capacity of Patient Care Assistant for the past fifteen years.
Several expressions of love and best wishes were spoken by staff members in a little reception held in her honor.

Ministry of Health launched “Operation: Mosquito Search and Destroy” at the Cecil Charlton Park, Mandeville, Manchester on Saturday, April 9, 2016. The clean-up days are being undertaken to rid major cities and towns of breeding sites for the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the vector for Zika, dengue and chikungunya viruses.
Work is set to commence next month on the renovation of classrooms and other facilities at the Warsop Primary School in South Trelawny.
The improvement work is being undertaken through a $10. 2 million grant from the Government of Japan under its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects.
